Questions
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything runs in your browser using the Canvas API — the file never leaves your machine, and the tool keeps working if you go offline after the page loads. There is no account, no queue, and no server-side copy to delete later.
Why does my image look soft after enlarging it?
Enlarging invents pixels that were never captured; no tool can add detail that is not there. Scaling down is lossless-looking, scaling up is not. If you need a larger screenshot, retake it on a high-DPI display rather than upscaling.
Does resizing reduce the file size?
Almost always, since there are fewer pixels to store. If you want a smaller file at the same dimensions, compress it instead.
